and I’ve been teaching Slovenian since 2020. My teaching journey began unexpectedly during the pandemic when my hospitality job paused, and I started teaching Slovene online. I quickly discovered that sharing my knowledge is just as exciting as learning something new.
Born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, I’ve always loved my home country’s caves, lakes, castles, mountains, and coastline. While I’ve explored other cultures—improving my German in Vienna, studying in the Netherlands, and joining Erasmus+ projects in Italy, Latvia, and Sweden—Slovenia is the place I always return to.

The courses are designed for English speakers who want to learn Slovenian with clarity and confidence. Because English and Slovenian differ in structure and grammar, I explain concepts in English to make them easier to understand—while gradually guiding you into Slovenian so you can start thinking and responding naturally.
The Beginner course is perfect if you’re starting from scratch. You’ll build a strong foundation with essential vocabulary, grammar, and expressions for everyday situations.
The Intermediate course is ideal once you’ve completed the beginner program or already know the basics (A1–A2 level). You’ll expand your vocabulary, strengthen grammar in context, and practice real-life communication to move confidently toward fluency.

The courses are divided into several sections, containing more than x video lessons and exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the courses offer a sequential and logical learning path.
