Hi, I'm Laura!

I’ve been teaching Slovenian since 2020. My teaching journey began unexpectedly during the pandemic when my hospitality job paused, and I started teaching Slovene online. I quickly discovered that sharing my knowledge is just as exciting as learning something new.

Born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, I’ve always loved my home country’s caves, lakes, castles, mountains, and coastline. While I’ve explored other cultures—improving my German in Vienna, studying in the Netherlands, and joining Erasmus+ projects in Italy, Latvia, and Sweden—Slovenia is the place I always return to.

In my A1-A2 beginner course, I help you build a strong foundation in the language so you can progress confidently. Beyond teaching, I’m a lifelong learner who loves trying new things—but with Slovenian, I’m here to stay!
